Office Update: New Location Details

We’re all settled and can’t wait to welcome you to our new space! The video “tours” below will show you exactly where to park and where to go after you enter the building as well as a sneak peek at our beautiful new space. Here are a couple of important details for you to note:

We’ve decided NOT to utilize an in-person receptionist due to the small size of the waiting room, and the fact that we already have an AMAZING patient care coordinator, Dr. Lisa, who just happens to live in Arizona🌵
When you arrive, come on into the waiting room and ring the doorbell* (it is clearly marked by a large sign) to let us know that you are here. Help yourself to coffee, water, or tea, and have a seat. We will be out to get you as soon as we are done with the previous patient.
*For security, we are utilizing a video doorbell, so smile because you’ll be on camera😁

A Valuable Local and National Resource

In lieu of Brenda’s Sound Bites, this month I want to talk about an incredible resource that is available to all of you. The Hearing Loss Association of America is the leading organization that educates and advocates for those with hearing loss. The national organization has a wonderful website full of valuable information. They also have a membership option that is very affordable and provides many benefits. We are excited to announce that, starting this month, a one-year HLAA membership will be included as part of Columbine Hearing Care’s comprehensive treatment plan.

Columbine Hearing Care is proud to partner with the Denver Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America

In Colorado, we are very lucky to have three local HLAA chapters: Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. I’m proud to serve on the board of the Denver HLAA chapter and I highly encourage all of our patients to consider attending our local meetings and/or social events. The meetings are held the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Koelbel Library in Centennial. They include speakers on topics surrounding hearing loss as well as time to connect with other attendees who share similar hearing challenges. I was honored to be the speaker at our May meeting and my talk was the featured article in their April 2023 Newsletter if you’d like to check it out! The details about the upcoming meetings are below:
