Believe it or not, the holiday season is upon us!! It seems like we were just enjoying a lovely summer and now we have already had quite the snowstorm! โ๏ธ
Our clinic relies on you – our patients – and we are so very grateful for you and your continued support this year. We love to see your smiling faces and it brings us joy to know that we are fulfilling our mission to help connect you to the ones you love most.ย
We hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving with family and friends and look forward to seeing you in the office soon!

Our team has been busy attending local events to spread the importance of hearing healthcare! Check out the pictures below from a few recent events:
Brenda represented Columbine Hearing Care at the Fall Successful Aging Expo at Concordia on the Lake on October 17. She had a busy day sharing information about our services, performing video otoscopy and meeting many wonderful people, including a lucky raffle winner! ๐
Dr. Dusty was proud to represent our non-profit project, Hearing the Call – Colorado, at Arapahoe Community College last week. The non-profit fair was hosted by the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dusty works tirelessly to spread the word and reach potential donors that might be interested in supporting this great cause!
Medicare & Hearing Care
The insurance world can be difficult to navigate; we get it! One of the most commonly-asked questions we hear is, “Does Medicare cover hearing aids?” The short answer is “no;” traditional Medicare (Parts A and B) unfortunately does not offer any benefit for hearing aids. They do generally cover one comprehensive hearing evaluation per year and you can read more about that HERE.ย
There are, however, certain Medicare Advantage plans that may offer a benefit or discount towards your hearing aid purchase and we encourage you to call your insurance carrier prior to your appointment to look into your benefits. Columbine Hearing Care will be an out-of-network provider for all of these plans, but occasionally benefits can be utilized at either in- or out-of-network clinics.ย

Remember to check out the “Ask an Audiologist” website! A quick search for “Medicare” brought up several articles – written by Dr. Dusty’s colleagues – about what Medicare may or may not cover. This resource has a wealth of information available for you! ๐ง
